Every All American truck and crew leaves from our base in Fort Myers. The owners do the estimates, so the people who plan your move are the people who run the company.
An owner plans the job
Before a crew is booked, Justin or Patrick walks through your home. They look at what is going, the stairs and doorways, and where a truck can park. That 10 to 15 minute visit is what the crew works from on moving day. If a piece needs more people or more care, it is in the plan before anyone shows up. Most moves come out of that visit with a guaranteed flat price.
How the crew wraps your furniture
Every piece of furniture is wrapped in quilt pads and then shrink wrapped before it goes on the truck. That goes for a living room couch as much as a dining set. If you want the boxes done too, the crew can pack the whole house and unpack at the other end. For many older customers, letting the crew pack is the easier choice. Read about packing and unpacking.
Pianos, clocks and odd-shaped pieces
Justin will tell you his guys are all good at pianos. The crews also move antiques, old wood furniture, grandfather clocks and arcade games, and we build custom crates when a piece needs one. A golf cart or motorcycle can ride on the truck with the rest of your household. Point these out at the estimate so the crew arrives with the right gear.
Our trucks come with our crews
Our trucks only go out with our own crews. We do not rent trucks for you to drive yourself. If you want help with a household move, call (239) 415-6683 and one of the owners will set up a time to come and see it. We work Monday through Saturday, 8am to 6pm, and Sunday mornings until noon.
