Tampa movers for moves down the coast
Tampa is the top of our map. We are a family mover based in Fort Myers, and our trucks and crews drive up from there for every Tampa job.
Pricing Tampa moves by FaceTime
Tampa is a long drive from our office, so Patrick usually prices the move over FaceTime. When several Tampa homes need in-person visits, we group them into one trip. On the call, go slowly and show the attic, the garage and the patio as well as each room. Most moves get a guaranteed flat price, and hourly is available if you prefer.
Being honest about the drive
Moves inside Tampa are welcome, but the crew comes up from Fort Myers, so the day starts with a long drive. That is why we are usually the best fit when your move heads south to Sarasota, Fort Myers or Naples. Book as early as you can so the truck and crew fit the calendar, especially for a weekday you have already promised a buyer or a building manager.
Moving a parent to Southwest Florida
If a parent is moving from Tampa to be near family farther south, we can handle the whole move. Our senior moving service covers packing, downsizing, the drive and setup, and we make the bed at the new place before we leave. Pieces that won't fit can go to donation or a consignment shop on the way. All American is a member of the National Association of Senior Move Managers, and the sticker is on our truck.
Curb space on Tampa streets
The City of Tampa will rent you curb space for the truck, but the request has to go in at least three business days ahead, so tell us your date early and we will help you get it done. In a condo or apartment tower, book the freight elevator with your manager as well, and tell us which hours the building allows.
Big homes and house sales
A large Tampa home may need two or three trucks heading south, and our Florida short-haul moves are set up for that. Pianos, grandfather clocks, gun safes and arcade games can come along. If you are selling the house, our realtor partner program lets your agent line up the dates with us. Call (239) 415-6683 to book the video call.
