White glove moving

A white glove move puts extra care into the furniture you value and the setup at the new home. One of the owners plans it with you, in the house.

Start with the pieces you worry about

Walk the owner through the house and stop at anything you'd hate to see scratched: the dining table, a glass cabinet, an inherited sideboard. Justin or Patrick notes each one and how it should travel. Old wood furniture, antiques and grandfather clocks are everyday work for our crews. So are pianos. In Patrick's words, his guys are all good at them. Read more about piano moving.

How each piece is protected

Every piece of furniture gets wrapped twice, first in quilt pads and then in shrink wrap. Framed photos and family papers are packed in acid-free paper. Clocks and antiques are boxed tight so they can't shift on the road. If a piece needs a different approach, raise it at the walkthrough so it's settled before the crew arrives.

Setup on senior moves

On our senior moves, white glove means the new place is ready to live in when we go. Belongings are unpacked into drawers and closets. Lamps are plugged in and the TV is set up. The beds have fresh linens on them. For any other home, tell the owner at the estimate how much unpacking you want, and it goes into the plan.

Who you deal with

You won't be handed to a call center. Justin and Patrick own the company and do every estimate themselves, so the person who looked at your antiques is the person you call with a question. The family has been in the moving business since 1997, when Justin's dad started it. Book a walkthrough at (239) 415-6683 or request one online.
