Moving across Florida

We move households from Southwest Florida to other parts of the state, including two- and three-truck moves to Orlando. The trucks and crews leave from Fort Myers.

Big houses need more trucks

A full house going across the state can fill more than one truck. Some of our recent Orlando moves took two, and some took three. The owner works out how many you need during the walkthrough. That way you know the number of trucks before moving day, and you aren't surprised when a second one pulls up.

Estimates from a distance

If the house is in our part of Southwest Florida, Justin or Patrick will come and see it in person. That visit is free and short. For a home farther away, such as Tampa, the estimate is usually done over FaceTime or video unless we can group several visits into one trip. On a video estimate, walk the camera slowly through every room, closet and the garage. Most moves end up with a guaranteed flat price.

Packing for the drive

Packing a whole house for a trip upstate is a big job to take on alone. Our crew packs before we leave and can unpack it at the new home, so you aren't living out of boxes for a month. Antiques and grandfather clocks are packed tight for the highway. Furniture is covered in quilt pads, then shrink wrap.

The golf cart, the car and the rest

A golf cart, car, ATV or motorcycle can ride along with your household. When a car is the only thing going, a car carrier usually costs less, and we'll tell you that up front. Mention every vehicle at the estimate so there's room for it. Our golf cart and vehicle moving page has more, or call (239) 415-6683 to start planning.

Questions about Florida moves

Do you move to Orlando?

Yes. We've done a number of Orlando moves lately, some needing two or three trucks.

Do you have an office near my new home?

No. We have one office, in Fort Myers, and every truck and crew is sent from there.

Can I get a flat price for a cross-state move?

Most moves get a guaranteed flat price once an owner has seen the house. Hourly pricing is also available.
