St. Petersburg moves, priced by video

We are a family mover from Fort Myers, and St. Petersburg is at the far north of where we work. We fit best when your move heads south to Southwest Florida.

Moving from St. Pete down the coast

If you are leaving the bay for Sarasota, Fort Myers or Naples, the trip ends near our home base. A bigger house may take two or three trucks, which is the kind of job our Florida short-haul moves handle. Moves within St. Pete are welcome too. The crew still drives up from Fort Myers for them, so call early to get the date you want.

How the video estimate works

Patrick usually does St. Pete estimates over FaceTime, unless he can group several home visits into one trip. Set aside about 15 minutes. Walk him through each room, open the closets and the garage, and point out anything heavy or fragile. He will give you a guaranteed flat price on most moves, or an hourly rate if that suits the job better.

Reserving curb space

St. Pete street parking is often metered or time limited, but the City can set aside curb space for a moving day. If the spot is in front of a business, that business has to agree, so ask early. In a downtown tower, call the manager first about the loading dock, the elevator and the hours movers can work.

A parent moving closer to family

Some St. Pete moves are for a parent going into assisted living or a smaller place near their children. Our senior moving crew packs, moves, places the furniture and makes the bed before leaving. We belong to the National Association of Senior Move Managers, which some senior communities ask about. To book a video estimate, call (239) 415-6683.
