Streets without a gatehouse
If your street has no HOA, there is no board to clear the truck, so that part falls to you. Ask neighbors to keep cars off the street out front on moving day. Trim low branches over the driveway, and leave the garage open so the crew can load the heavy pieces first. If a canal or swale runs behind the house, mention it at the estimate.
Clearing the yard before you sell
If you are selling, check whether your lot is part of Lee County's San Carlos Park drainage repairs. That work has meant clearing sheds, fences and other items out of the canal and swale easements. Sheds stay with the house, but bikes, patio sets and tools can ride on the truck, and anything you are done with can go to donation or the dump on moving day through our donation and disposal hauls.
The estimate with Justin
Justin's walkthrough takes about 10 to 15 minutes. You do not need anything packed, and a full garage is fine. He looks at the rooms, the driveway and whatever sits behind the house, then gives a flat price on most moves. Hourly pricing is there if you prefer it. On moving day, furniture is padded and shrink wrapped before it goes on the truck.
Moving past Lee County
Some moves from here head across the state for a new job or to be near family. Our Florida short-haul moves use two or three trucks for bigger homes, and recent jobs have gone to Orlando.
