Pelican Bay moving, planned around your association
In Pelican Bay, your building or neighborhood association usually sets the rules for moving day. We get those rules first, and Justin plans the crew and the start time around them.
Many associations, many rule sheets
Pelican Bay is made up of dozens of separate associations, from single family homes to high rise condos, and two neighbors can face very different rules for the same kind of move. Ask your association or building office for its vendor or move sheet, and send it to us before you settle on a date.
Service elevators and delivery cutoffs
Towers here may limit movers to the service elevator, ask for floors to be covered from the elevator to the unit, and set a time when large deliveries must be done. If big pieces have to be upstairs by mid-afternoon, we load them first and leave boxes for last. Our white glove handling covers the quilt pads, shrink wrap and loading order that rules like these call for.
Trading the house for a condo
Some owners move from a Pelican Bay house into a tower unit in the same community. Start with the new floor plan, and we help you work out which sofa and bed will fit. Our downsizing help covers the sorting. Going the other way, from a tower to a house, you may have more rooms than furniture. We set up what you have and leave clear space where the new pieces will go.
The golf cart rides with the furniture
A golf cart, car or motorcycle can come on the same move, loaded and strapped with the rest of the household. For a vehicle on its own, a car carrier usually makes more sense on price. See golf cart and vehicle moving for how it works. Call (239) 415-6683, and Justin will come out to look at both the home and the cart.
