Golden Gate movers for city homes and the Estates

Golden Gate is a short drive from our Fort Myers office. Justin, one of the owners, walks your home for the estimate himself.

Tell us about the driveway

Some Golden Gate moves head east into the Estates, where a driveway can be long or unpaved. Tell us about the drive at both homes, and send a photo if you can. After heavy rain a truck may need to stop near the road while the crew carries the rest by hand. Knowing that ahead of time keeps the day on schedule. Justin will ask about it on his 10 to 15 minute visit anyway.

Sort before anything is packed

Going from a house with a big garage to something smaller means deciding what comes along. Walk each room and mark what moves, what gets donated and what is trash. We can drop pieces at donation or consignment on moving day and haul the rest away for a disposal fee. We are not a junk company, but we will clear what you leave behind as part of the move.

Let the crew do the boxes

With full packing, you are not spending weeks taping cartons. The crew wraps the dishes and glass, and furniture goes in quilt pads and shrink wrap. At the new house we unpack as much as you want. For an older homeowner, this is usually the better choice than lifting boxes and climbing step stools for a month.

Moving between the city and the Estates

Plenty of Golden Gate moves are short ones, like a family going from a house in Golden Gate City to a bigger lot out in the Estates, or the other way around. A short move still needs a real plan, so Justin asks about both homes, counts what is going and gives you a guaranteed flat price on most moves, so you know the cost before the truck comes.
